I was born in Ogden and raised in Syracuse Utah. I graduated from BYU-Idaho in Rexburg with a bachelor’s degree in Social Science Education. I love learning, the social sciences, and working with people so the choice to become a teacher was a pretty natural one. I believe knowledge really is power.
I met my wife at school. She has taught me much about the world and how to see it from others’ perspectives. We’ve visited her home in Russia twice and made some great memories there. I have many hobbies and though my passion for them fluctuates it keeps my life interesting. These hobbies include Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, parkour, playing the guitar, piano, and ocarina, singing, learning Russian, Spanish, and Hebrew, reading books, working out, listening to music, reading the news, traveling with my wife, and socializing.
I’ve enjoyed my time at OPA so far and I value the relationships I’ve formed with my students and co-workers.
