This is Isabeau Totterer’s first year teaching at Ogden Prep. She is the music specialist for K-6 at the Intermediate and Elementary School. She also teaches a percussion ensemble at Bingham High School, in South Jordan.
Ms. Izzy has moved a lot in her lifetime. She was born in Bridisi, Italy, moved to many places in Germany, including Kaiserslautern, Ramstein, and Frankfurt. She has lived in Utah for ten years. She loves the mountains and all the outdoor activities Utah has to offer.
Ms. Izzy received her Bachelor in Music, with an emphasis in education, from the University of Utah in December 2010. She is an avid percussionist and loves performing whenever she can. She has performed with many local groups including the Utah Symphony, Ballet West, Utah Youth Symphony, and recently recorded a CD with the Lyceum Philharmonic.
Music is everything to Ms. Izzy, but she also enjoys reading, biking, cooking, and feasting on Girl Scout Cookies. Samoas are her favorite.
