Mrs. Scalise

Kindergarten

My name is Janet Scalise. I was born and raised right here in Utah. I am married to Tim Scalise and we have 3 children: Tony, Nicholas, and Sara. I love to eat sushi, go hiking, camping, working in my gardens and reading books! My children all attended OPA and are currently at MOPA. I received my Associates Degree from Rick's College and my BA from Weber State. Before having children I taught first and second grades in Davis District for 12 years. I then took a break to be a "stay home mom". A few years ago I once again joined the teaching ranks and have loved it! This will be my 5th year at OPA and my 3rd year in Kindergarten. I love Kindergarten children! They are fun, energized, and so willing to learn! I like to facilitate that learning process throught stories, music, and movement.
