Mr. Martin

2nd Grade

Mr. Martin was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised in the small, rural community of Pittsfield, Illinois. He graduated Valedictorian from West Pike High School. He spent an extended time of service in Sydney, Australia working with immigrants from Central and South America. He graduated from Utah State University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences and Minors in Spanish and Music. After graduating he realized his passion in working with elementary children in schools and obtained his Teacher Certification (K-6) through the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence. When he is not correcting papers faster than a speeding bullet and helping his students increase their Reading and Math scores by leaps and bounds, Mr. Martin enjoys singing, practicing piano, and Lindy-Hop and West-Coast Swing Dancing. Mr. Martin has amazing parents and four awesome siblings.
