Mr. Kaplan

1st Grade Teacher

Hello, my name is Roy Kaplan. I am a born "buckeye" from Ohio. Growing up I was a huge sports fan. My favorite teams still to this day are the Cleveland Indians, Browns, Cavs and Ohio State Buckeyes. Since leaving Ohio in 2007, I have lived in San Diego California, Charlotte, North Carolina for Grad School, and a small town In Utah. The beautiful trails and ski slopes made the move to Ogden a no-brainer. This will be my first year as a 2nd grade teacher. I taught first grade last year. In the summertime, I work at an overnight camp in Pennsylvania. All in all my favorite part about working with kids is when I have something to do with a "light" going on in their head! Hopefully that happens a few times this year!
