Andrea Cheney Dosier
Librarian

Hello! I was born and raised in the Ogden area and I love living here. I have three daughters who attend OPA and MOPA. I have been the librarian at OPA since 2006. I have really enjoyed getting to know all of the students and planning our great library programs.

I graduated from Weber State University with a major in English and a minor in Women’s Studies. I worked for four years at the Central Branch Library in Layton in Children’s Services. I then opened and ran a preschool and summer school program for two years. Prior to coming to OPA, I worked for four years at the Weber County Library System in Roy and North Ogden in Children’s Services. I met many great families while spending my time at these libraries.

I also love to volunteer my time and have helped with athletics, drama, origami and art. I love to spend time with my three daughters and husband playing, riding bikes, going for walks and eating dinner together. When I have free time I love to run in the foothills, spend time with my friends, read, work in my garden and do anything outdoors. We also have three dogs named Kona, Daisy and Toto and two parakeets named Emily and Zita.

I love our library and I work to make it a welcoming place. Please come in and visit.
